Hi there!

We’re Willow and Deborah, the founders of Today I Noticed and partners in creative crime.

We hit upon the idea for Today I Noticed one day during an urban adventure in San Francisco. While wandering the city streets, we decided to pay close attention to what was happening all around us.

Slowing down, being present, and recording our observations was so rewarding that we decided to make it a daily practice. Now, we post our TINs on Instagram and lead workshops to inspire other people to take up this simple, rewarding, and fun mindfulness practice.

Meet Willow …

I’m an award-winning writer running my own editorial services business. I’m also a self-taught artist—and a determined knitter trying hard to make my mistakes look like they’re part of the pattern. I grew up on the South Island of New Zealand and, now, my family and I call the San Francisco Bay Area home.

Meet Deborah …

I’ve spent most of my career in the high-tech industry in a variety of creative and management roles. I write children’s books and dream of taking a daily swim in the chilly S.F. Bay (but know I never will). I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my family and a very finnicky beta fish.
